The Wave lamp is the latest design by Studio Snowpuppe
It is made from Snowpuppe's 2 favorite materials: paper and wood.

Nellianna and Kenneth got inspired by their walks on the beach to design a wave shaped lampshade.
While looking at the waves at sea we wanted to design a lamp that is able to bring the feeling of a fresh sea in your living room.

The lamp is available in 5 subtle pastel colors, that give a warm touch to the color of the light. 
The colors have been screenprinted on white paper. So the inside of the lampshade is white.

The Wave lamp is made of sheets of paper that are attached to a wooden ring.
The overlapping sheets make the color of the paper more intense at the spot of the overlap.
This gives a beautiful effect during the day as well as during the night.

The lamp gives smooth, cozy light. It is very suitable for above the dining table for everyday use or for use in a bedroom.
The lampshade fits around a standard energy-saving lightbulb. It is suitable for use as the only source of light in the room.

The dimensions of this lampshade are:
-26 cm / 10,2 inch height;
-40 cm / 15,7 inch diameter.

The length of the cord is 3 meter. 
The cord can be easily shortened by rolling the cord inside the ceiling cup.

All of our models are delivered with a cordset of the design brand NUD Collection, consisting of a porcelain socket, textile cord of 3 meter length and a ceiling cup.

The lamp is shipped in a high quality carboard box. An instruction manual is included.

What is an energy saving lightbulb or LED lightbulb?

These lampshades are for use with an energy-saving lightbulb or LED lightbulb only. You can find these in any supermarket. If you use an energy-saving lightbulb of maximum 11 Watt, then it's completely safe to use our lampshades. Compared to the lightbulbs that you are probably used to, an energy-saving lightbulb of 11 Watt is the same as an old lightbulb of 60 Watt. The lampshades are perfect for use with energy-saving lightbulbs because the lampshades make the light warmer, more natural and cosy. The colored paper has a stunning coloring effect on the light.

A LED lightbulb is healthier for you and your kids

We recommend to use a LED lightbulb which is better for nature than energy-saving bulbs, that contain mercury.
Ikea offers a range of suitable LEB lightbulbs under the label LEDARE. The lightbulb needs to be E27.

The lampshade is very easy to install. The lampshades is attached to a plastic disk that clips around the electric cord.
To install the lampshade first you will clip the plastic disk to the cord. After that you can slide the paper sheets into the disk to attach the lamp to the cord.
