About Studio Snowpuppe

Studio Snowpuppe is a colorful product design studio with a focus on inspiring lighting.
We are architect Nellianna van den Baard and industrial designer Kenneth Veenenbos.
Our studio started in 2010 in The Hague and is now located in the historic fortified town of Brielle.

We design, make and distribute paper and wood lamps from our studio.
All lamps are made by hand by us.
We design folded lamps based on origami techniques.
The folds are made in the paper with a machine.
After that, each lamp is folded with the utmost care by hand.

We want to make products that make the world a little bit more beautiful with minimal resources and natural materials.
The paper of our lamps makes the cold light of energy saving lamps and LED lamps warm, natural and cosy.
Since 2019 we also make origami clocks.

Our goal is to make you happy and to inspire you in your creativity by experiencing the warm light of our lamps.
Creativity for us means adventure and discovering new things, in whatever form.

Since 2019 we also offer the opportunity to follow a workshop with us.
There we show our process and it is possible to make a paper object of your choice yourself.
